Mission

Counter Threats

The mission of identifying, tracking and neutralizing threats before they can compromise operations, institutions or strategic objectives.

Counter Threats
Operational Overview

In Shadow Front, countering threats is the primary mission of the Russian security services. Every operation begins with identifying individuals, networks or activities considered capable of disrupting strategic stability.

Threats can take many forms. Foreign intelligence officers, covert networks, cyber intrusions, leaks, sabotage teams and even internal actors suspected of disloyalty.

The challenge is determining which signals represent genuine danger and which are deliberate deception. Misjudgment can expose operations or create entirely new threats.
