In Shadow Front, counterintelligence is the first shield of the Ukrainian front. It is the work of finding the invisible enemy before the enemy can move.
Its world is built from fragments: irregular signals, suspicious movements, false documents, compromised phones, unusual financial trails and informants whose loyalty may change under pressure.
Every discovery carries risk. A detected network may be real, planted or deliberately exposed to mislead the defenders.
Narrative Role
Counterintelligence gives Shadow Front its tension. It is the layer where trust becomes dangerous, silence becomes evidence and every friendly face may hide a second allegiance.
