How the F1 Championship Calculator Works

Start by entering each championship contender's current points total and number of Grand Prix wins. Then specify how many Grands Prix and Sprint weekends remain.

Generate the remaining calendar and assign projected race and Sprint finishing positions. The calculator adds the corresponding championship points and produces a projected final classification.

The tool also calculates the maximum points still available, helping identify which drivers remain mathematically capable of reaching the championship leader.

Important: This calculator assumes standard full-points Grand Prix and Sprint events. Reduced points can apply when a race is shortened. Official FIA classification procedures also contain detailed countback rules when drivers finish level on points.
