Desmosedici
GP26
Built for MotoGP
The Desmosedici GP is Ducati Corse's flagship prototype and the technical centre of Ducati's MotoGP programme.
The GP26 is designed exclusively for competition at the highest level of motorcycle racing. Every component exists within a tightly integrated system of engine performance, aerodynamics, electronics, chassis behaviour, braking and tyre management.
At its heart is Ducati's liquid cooled 90 degree V4 engine with desmodromic valve actuation. The 1,000 cc unit produces more than 250 horsepower and is capable of carrying the prototype beyond 350 km/h.
Rosso Centenario
Ducati entered its centenary year with a new interpretation of the colour that has become inseparable from the company. The Desmosedici GP26 carries Rosso Centenario, a deeper red created to connect the 2026 racing programme with the manufacturer's origins.
Ducati traces the inspiration to the Ducati 60 of 1949 and to the 1955 Gran Sport “Marianna”, the first Ducati conceived specifically for racing.
