RS GP26
Aprilia Racing's 2026 MotoGP prototype represents the continuing evolution of Noale's V4 engineering philosophy, combining aerodynamic sophistication, electronic control and relentless development at the highest level of motorcycle racing.
Noale's interpretation of the ultimate MotoGP prototype
The Aprilia RS GP26 is the latest evolution of the prototype developed by Aprilia Racing for the 2026 MotoGP World Championship. Built around the manufacturer's V4 architecture, the motorcycle combines extreme aerodynamic development, advanced electronics, carbon fibre competition hardware and a chassis designed to extract maximum performance from the modern MotoGP tyre and aerodynamic environment.

V4 Architecture
Aprilia's MotoGP project is built around a compact V4 engine concept designed to combine enormous power with packaging flexibility, acceleration and aerodynamic integration.
Aerodynamic Development
Modern MotoGP performance increasingly depends on airflow management. The RS GP26 uses sophisticated aerodynamic surfaces to generate stability, manage wheel load and improve acceleration.
Ride Height Systems
Mechanical devices help optimise motorcycle attitude during acceleration, allowing more engine performance to be transferred to the rear tyre while limiting wheelies.
Electronic Intelligence
MotoGP's unified electronics environment places enormous importance on software calibration, traction management, engine braking and the precise delivery of more than 280 horsepower.
Born in Noale
The RS GP26 is the product of Aprilia Racing's competition department in Noale. The project represents a distinctly Italian approach to prototype racing, combining aggressive aerodynamic experimentation with the continuous evolution of Aprilia's V4 engine, chassis and electronic systems. Every Grand Prix becomes another development laboratory, where data gathered by the factory riders feeds directly into the engineering process.

Aprilia's title campaign
The opening phase of the 2026 season established the RS GP26 as one of MotoGP's defining machines. Marco Bezzecchi delivered repeated Grand Prix victories while Jorge Martín returned to the top step at Le Mans. Trackhouse performances further demonstrated the depth of the Aprilia technical package.
Racing as a laboratory
MotoGP is the ultimate expression of Aprilia Racing's engineering philosophy. The RS GP26 exists in a permanent state of evolution. Aerodynamic surfaces change, electronic strategies develop, chassis solutions are refined and every kilometre generates new data. The objective is simple: transform engineering knowledge into lap time.
