Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri will don black suits with chrome-accented driver numbers for the race. Norris, riding high after a strong Austrian GP finish, aims to convert local support at Silverstone into a long-awaited home victory. With a tight battle forming between Norris and championship leader Piastri, a McLaren 1-2 finish could shift momentum in the title fight.
McLaren CMO Lewis McEwen emphasized the campaign’s role in connecting newer fans with the team’s legacy:
“Celebrating our history while energizing fans through Google Chrome is the perfect blend of heritage and innovation.”
The livery marks McLaren’s third consecutive chrome-themed design, reinforcing its strategy of bridging past success with modern performance and fan engagement.
