Rock in Rio Lisboa has revealed two exciting new additions to its 2026 lineup: 4 Non Blondes and Joss Stone. These iconic artists, who have shaped generations, are set to return to the stage and prove that some music and voices never grow old. The festival’s organizers expressed their excitement, noting that both acts are experiencing a resurgence with new audiences, demonstrating their timeless appeal.
The two performances are set for June 27, the “Legends Day,” which will be headlined by rock legend Rod Stewart. 4 Non Blondes will perform on the Palco Mundo, while British soul singer Joss Stone will take to the Palco Super Bock stage.
4 Non Blondes: From San Francisco to Worldwide Fame
Formed in 1989 in San Francisco, 4 Non Blondes rose to fame in the early ’90s with their debut album Bigger, Better, Faster, More? released in 1992. The band’s hit single “What’s Up?” became an anthem on modern rock radio and earned a permanent spot in the mainstream. The accompanying music video was a hit on MTV, propelling the album to sell over six million copies globally.
During their peak, 4 Non Blondes shared the stage with rock giants such as Aerosmith, Neil Young, and Pearl Jam, and contributed to movie soundtracks including Wayne’s World 2 and Airheads. In addition to 4 Non Blondes and Joss Stone, the festival will also feature performances from Cypress Hill, Katy Perry, Linkin Park, Calema, Pedro Sampaio, and Napa.
