“The health condition of all crew members is stable,” Al-Atwan stated, noting that they are currently receiving necessary medical care.
While the specific number and types of aircraft involved have not yet been disclosed, the MoD emphasized that there is high-level coordination between Kuwaiti authorities and U.S. forces. Joint technical procedures are currently underway to manage the aftermath of the incidents and secure the crash sites.
Colonel Al-Atwan confirmed that a formal investigation has been launched to determine the technical or operational causes behind the simultaneous crashes. The Ministry has urged the public and international media to refrain from speculation and to rely exclusively on information provided by official government channels.
The incident comes at a time of continued regional cooperation between the United States and Kuwait, a key strategic ally in the Gulf. As of Monday afternoon, U.S. Central Command has not yet issued a separate detailed report on the nature of the mission the aircraft were performing at the time of the accident.
