The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), a separatist armed group active in Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province, has claimed responsibility for a new wave of coordinated attacks targeting Pakistani security forces across multiple districts, highlighting the persistent instability in one of the country’s most volatile regions.
In a series of statements released through its media channels, the BLA said its fighters carried out operations against military checkpoints, convoys and security installations, alleging casualties among Pakistani forces and damage to military infrastructure. Multiple attacks claimed across Balochistan
According to the group, the operations were conducted in several areas of Balochistan and involved ambushes, rocket attacks, and assaults on security positions.
The BLA claimed that its fighters targeted Frontier Corps and Pakistani military posts, using a combination of rocket-propelled grenades, machine guns, and improvised explosive devices. The group also said it temporarily disrupted movement along key roads in parts of the province.
