The Haas VF-25 is a Formula One racing car designed and constructed by the Haas F1 Team to compete in the 2025 Formula One World Championship. The car is driven by Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman, both in their first season with the team following Kevin Magnussen’s departure from Formula One and Nico Hülkenberg’s move to Sauber as part of that team’s transition to Audi for 2026.
History
The VF-25 was unveiled on 18 February 2025 at the F1 75 Live event. While its predecessor featured a darker, carbon-heavy livery, the VF-25 incorporates a larger proportion of white in its design.

For the Canadian Grand Prix, the VF-25 carried a special livery inspired by the team’s debut VF-16 car to celebrate Haas’s 200th Grand Prix.
Design and Technical Features
The VF-25 is powered by the Ferrari 066/15 power unit, a 1.6-liter turbocharged V6 hybrid engine. The car retains Ferrari’s 2024 push-rod front suspension rather than adopting the newer pull-rod configuration.
Aerodynamic changes include a reprofiled upper front sidepod section with a larger undercut, designed to increase airflow speed and downforce. The sidepod’s upper contours have been slightly reshaped, moving some radiator area rearward and upward to allow for this change, despite the small increase in center of gravity height.
Haas Technical Director Andrea De Zordo stated that aerodynamic performance was the primary development focus, while also improving the general quality of the car by addressing smaller weaknesses from the VF-24. Head of Aerodynamics, Davide Paganell, noted particular attention to the rear of the car and rear wing design to improve adaptability across different circuit characteristics, especially in hotter race conditions.

そんなわけで製作期間約三週間、HAAS VF-25桜号っぽいマシンが完成しました!😆✨
最初は無謀かとも思いましたが、白ボディってのが大きく、途中で追加したレーザープリンタが大活躍してくれました👍

Performance Development
The VF-25’s development program aimed to produce a more versatile car capable of competing across a variety of track layouts and climates. Adjustments to the rear aerodynamics, cooling configurations, and overall car balance were made to ensure consistent performance. According to Paganelli, these changes address one of the VF-24’s weaknesses—struggling to perform consistently at circuits with different characteristics.
If the VF-25’s track performance matches wind tunnel expectations, Haas anticipates competitive results from the start of the 2025 season.
