Kyiv, 11 August — Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has warned that Russia is actively preparing for fresh offensive operations, dismissing any notion that Moscow is moving toward a ceasefire or post-war planning.

In his evening address on Monday, the president said Ukrainian intelligence and military commanders had briefed him on the latest assessments of Kremlin intentions. According to Zelenskyy, the intelligence paints a clear picture — Russian President Vladimir Putin remains focused on escalating military pressure rather than de-escalating the conflict.

“This includes military preparations,” Zelenskyy stated. “He is definitely not preparing for a ceasefire or an end to the war. Putin is determined only to present the meeting with America as his personal victory and then to continue acting exactly as before, applying the same pressure on Ukraine as before.”

The Ukrainian leader stressed that there is no sign the Russian military has received instructions to prepare for a post-war scenario. Instead, troop redeployments and force movements indicate preparations for new offensives.

Zelenskyy also reaffirmed Kyiv’s commitment to transparency with its allies. He said Ukraine is keeping its partners fully informed about the situation on the battlefield, ongoing diplomatic efforts, and intelligence on Moscow’s strategic planning.

The warning comes as Ukraine braces for intensified fighting, with military analysts noting that troop redeployments could signal a push along multiple fronts before the onset of winter.
