WASHINGTON D.C. — In an admission that has sent social media into a frenzy and briefly eclipsed the geopolitical tensions of the Munich Security Conference, former President Barack Obama has declared that aliens are “real.”

Speaking on Saturday, February 14, in a Valentine’s Day interview with podcast host Brian Tyler Cohen, the 44th President provided his most direct confirmation yet regarding the existence of non-human intelligence, though he maintained that he has never personally met an extraterrestrial.

“Where are the Aliens?”

When Cohen asked point-blank if aliens exist, Obama responded without hesitation: “They’re real, but I haven’t seen them.”

The former President used the moment to poke fun at his own curiosity upon entering the Oval Office in 2009. “What was the first question you wanted answered when you became president?” Cohen asked. With a laugh, Obama replied: “Uh, where are the aliens?”

While the tone was characteristically lighthearted, the remarks come at a time of heightened public and governmental scrutiny regarding Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs). Just weeks ago, leaked radar footage from U.S. Air Force Reaper drones reportedly showed mysterious objects defying conventional physics over the Middle East, further fueling the national conversation.

Debunking the ‘Area 51’ Myth

Despite his confirmation of their existence, Obama was quick to dismantle one of the world’s most enduring conspiracy theories: the idea that the U.S. government is hiding alien bodies or spacecraft at the secretive Nevada base known as Area 51.

“They are not being kept in Area 51,” Obama stated firmly. “There’s no underground facility, unless there’s this enormous conspiracy and they hid it from the President of the United States.”

This echoes comments Obama made in 2021 to James Corden, where he admitted there is footage of objects in the sky that the government “can’t explain.” By moving from “unexplained footage” to the definitive “they’re real,” Obama has significantly shifted his public stance.

Geopolitical Reactions

The timing of the interview, released as Secretary of State Marco Rubio and other leaders met in Munich, has created a surreal split-screen in global news. While Rubio addressed “civilizational heritage” and European leaders debated a “post-rules-based order,” the American public was more focused on what lies beyond the planet.

White House correspondent Peter Doocy even queried President Joe Biden on the matter following the podcast’s release. When asked for his take on Obama’s comments, Biden simply quipped: “I would ask him again.”

As the U.S. House UAP task force continues to demand greater transparency from the Pentagon, Obama’s “Valentine’s Day disclosure” serves as a powerful reminder that while the rules of this world may be changing, the mysteries of the next are only just beginning to be acknowledged.
