China successfully launched a Pakistani satellite into space on Saturday, marking another milestone in growing space cooperation between the two countries.
According to Xinhua News Agency, the PRSC-EO3 satellite was deployed from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, located in northern China’s Shanxi Province. The launch took place at 8:15 pm Beijing time aboard a Long March 6 carrier rocket.
Officials confirmed that the satellite successfully entered its planned orbit shortly after liftoff, indicating a smooth and effective mission execution.
The launch represents the 640th flight of the Long March rocket series, a cornerstone of China’s expanding space program and its international partnerships in satellite deployment.
While detailed technical specifications about the PRSC-EO3 satellite and its operational objectives have not been disclosed, the mission underscores ongoing collaboration between Beijing and Islamabad in the aerospace sector.
China has increasingly positioned itself as a key partner for developing countries seeking access to space technology, offering launch services and satellite development support.
