Lando Norris delivered a commanding performance to win the Sprint race at the Miami Grand Prix, converting his pole position into a controlled and confident victory for McLaren.

The British driver led all 19 laps of the race, managing pace and tire wear effectively while keeping challengers at a safe distance. From the start, Norris maintained his advantage despite a busy opening phase behind him, where multiple battles unfolded across the field.

While Norris cruised at the front, the fight for the remaining podium positions proved far more intense. Scuderia Ferrari and Mercedes drivers engaged in a close contest, with positions shifting as strategies and pace differences came into play throughout the race.

Further back, the midfield provided plenty of action, with drivers battling wheel-to-wheel in a tightly packed group. Despite the competitive environment, Brazilian rookie Gabriel Bortoleto was unable to break into the points, finishing outside the top positions after struggling to gain ground during the race.

Norris’s victory reinforces McLaren’s strong form in Miami, following an impressive qualifying performance, and positions the team as a serious contender for the remainder of the race weekend.

With momentum clearly on his side, Norris heads into the main Grand Prix as a driver to watch, while rivals Ferrari and Mercedes will look to regroup after their closely fought but ultimately secondary battle in the Sprint.
