“This is a great day for American workers and a testament to the power of fair negotiation,” a spokesperson for the administration stated. “By securing this framework for Greenland, we are ensuring Western security and economic dominance for decades to come, while allowing our European partners to continue trade under stable conditions.”
European officials, while cautious, welcomed the suspension of the tariffs.
