SANDRINGHAM, England — Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the brother of King Charles II, formerly known as Prince Andrew, has officially vacated the Royal Lodge in Windsor. The move comes as a fresh wave of declassified documents from the U.S. Department of Justice further illuminates his controversial ties to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

As of Wednesday morning, Mountbatten-Windsor has reportedly taken up residence at Sandringham, the King’s private estate in Norfolk. While the relocation was signaled by Buckingham Palace last October, its timing coincides with the release of three million documents and photographs that have reignited public scrutiny of the former royal.

Shocking New Allegations

The newly released files include a 2011 letter from a lawyer representing a now-deceased client. The letter alleges that Mountbatten-Windsor and Epstein solicited an “exotic dancer” for a threesome during a party populated by “young women dressed provocatively,” some of whom appeared to be as young as 14.

Further evidence suggests a deep level of familiarity between the two men. In a 2010 email exchange, Mountbatten-Windsor allegedly invited Epstein to dinner at Buckingham Palace. When Epstein noted he was with several women and offered to “bring them all,” the royal reportedly replied, “Yes, plenty of space here for chat. Bring them.”

Another alleged message from a month prior features Mountbatten-Windsor writing to Epstein: “God, it’s cold and dank here! Wish I were still a pet in your family!”

Photographic Evidence and Legal Pressure

The Justice Department also released a series of photographs. In one image, the former prince is seen on all fours over an obscured woman on the floor. Other photos depict him touching a woman’s waist and stomach. While the dates and locations of these photos remain unconfirmed, they have intensified calls for the former royal to cooperate with international investigators.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer addressed the situation on Saturday, stating that anyone with relevant information should be “prepared to share that information in whatever form they’re asked.” Meanwhile, members of the U.S. House Oversight Committee have requested a “transcribed interview” regarding his friendship with Epstein—a request that has so far gone unanswered.

A Fall from Grace

The relocation marks the latest chapter in Mountbatten-Windsor’s dramatic fall from public life. King Charles stripped his brother of his royal titles last year following the fallout from the Virginia Giuffre case. Although he denied any wrongdoing, Mountbatten-Windsor reached a $16 million settlement with Giuffre in 2022.

Adding to the legal pressure, Thames Valley Police are currently assessing new allegations that a second woman was sent by Epstein to the U.K. for a sexual encounter at the Royal Lodge in 2010. If substantiated, it would be the first time an alleged survivor has claimed a sexual encounter occurred within a royal residence.

Buckingham Palace has maintained its distance, stating that the decision to end his lease at Windsor was “deemed necessary,” while emphasizing the King and Queen’s sympathies remain with the victims of abuse.
