505 Games and Polish independent developer Paradark Studio have officially unveiled ExeKiller, a narrative-driven single-player action adventure that blends retro futuristic cyberpunk aesthetics with the untamed spirit of the Wild West.

The game, currently in development for PC and scheduled for release on Steam, places players in a post-apocalyptic version of America where advanced technology exists alongside lawless deserts, crumbling settlements, and ruthless bounty hunters.

A Story-Driven Journey Through a Broken America

Players take on the role of Denzel Fenix, a licensed bounty hunter known as an ExeKiller, navigating a dangerous world where survival depends on difficult decisions, scarce resources, and the consequences of every choice.

The narrative places strong emphasis on exploration, investigation, combat, and dialogue, allowing each player to shape a unique journey through a hostile frontier.

Rather than presenting a linear adventure, ExeKiller promises a branching storyline where relationships, missions, and even the fate of entire communities can change depending on the player’s actions.

Every Decision Matters

One of the game’s defining features is its dynamic decision system.

Throughout the adventure, players will encounter memorable characters, face complex moral dilemmas, and uncover hidden mysteries in a world where frontier justice meets advanced cybernetic technology.

Whether choosing to spare or eliminate a target, betray a contract, refuse payment, or negotiate rather than fight, every decision can have lasting consequences that may only become apparent much later in the story.

Investigation Before the Hunt

Each bounty begins with a contract containing little more than a target’s identity and reward.

Before engaging an enemy, players must investigate crime scenes, gather evidence, and use an advanced Cybervision system capable of reconstructing past events and identifying the whereabouts of their targets.

This investigative gameplay transforms every mission into a detective-style experience before the action even begins.

Multiple Ways to Complete Missions

Combat is only one option.

Players can combine stealth, hacking, persuasion, and direct firefights depending on their preferred playstyle.

A real-time dialogue system also allows conversations to continue during pursuits, negotiations, and combat encounters without interrupting gameplay, making words as powerful as weapons in certain situations.

No Traditional Experience System

Unlike many modern role-playing games, ExeKiller abandons conventional experience points and level progression.

Instead, character development depends entirely on cybernetic upgrades, equipment, and technological enhancements collected throughout the adventure.

Mission rewards unlock new weapons, abilities, and strategic options, encouraging players to customize Denzel Fenix according to their own style.

A Distinctive Visual Identity

ExeKiller stands out through its striking artistic direction.

Warm shades of orange, brown, and dusty gold dominate the landscape, combining the analogue aesthetic of the 1970s with futuristic technology and post-apocalyptic decay.

Exploration is further enhanced by the Appaloosa, a hovering vehicle that serves as both transportation across the wasteland and an essential tool during bounty hunts.

The game’s interface is fully integrated into the world itself, aiming to create a more immersive experience.

Launch Plans

505 Games will publish ExeKiller globally on Steam while Paradark Studio continues development.

Although no official release date has been announced, the title is already attracting attention for its unique combination of cyberpunk technology, western themes, and meaningful player choice.

With its blend of storytelling, investigation, action, and moral decision-making, ExeKiller aims to deliver one of the most distinctive single-player adventures currently in development.
