Porsche has introduced a special edition of the 911 GT3 to mark the 75th anniversary of the brand’s presence in the United Kingdom. Named the 911 GT3 Touring Earls Court 51, the limited-production model pays tribute to the first Porsche 356 imported into Britain and displayed at London’s Earls Court Motor Show in 1951.
Developed in collaboration with Porsche’s exclusive Sonderwunsch customization division, the special edition will be limited to just 51 units, reflecting the year that marked Porsche’s official arrival on the British market.
Inspired by a Historic Beginning
The Earls Court 51 is based on the wingless 911 GT3 Touring variant, a design choice intended to evoke the elegant and understated character of the original Porsche 356.
The model debuts a unique exterior finish known as Earls Court Green Metallic, created through Porsche’s Paint to Sample Plus program. Additional bespoke details include silver-painted door handles, mirror caps, and a decorative bonnet stripe.
The 20-inch front and 21-inch rear alloy wheels feature a diamond-cut silver finish complemented by metallic Earls Court Green accents, creating a distinctive appearance that sets the anniversary model apart from the standard GT3.

A Tailor-Made Interior
Inside, the special edition receives a unique combination of materials and colors. The upper dashboard and door panels are trimmed in Paldao Green leather, while the seats are upholstered in Chalk Beige leather.
Custom corduroy seat inserts, created exclusively through the Sonderwunsch program, add a retro touch inspired by classic Porsche interiors. The seat backs are finished in green leather and wood trim, while embossed Union Jack details on the sun visors underline the model’s British connection.
Each buyer will also receive a collection of exclusive accessories, including a specially designed Porsche watch, a 1:18 scale model of the car, a premium weekend travel bag, and a commemorative book documenting the development process behind the Earls Court 51 Edition.
Performance Remains Pure GT3
Mechanically, the anniversary edition remains unchanged from the standard 911 GT3 Touring.
Power comes from Porsche’s naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine, producing 510 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 450 Nm of torque at 6,250 rpm. Customers can choose between a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox.
The combination continues to deliver the high-revving driving experience that has become synonymous with the GT3 nameplate.
Restoring a Piece of Porsche History
Alongside the launch of the Earls Court 51, Porsche has also completed the restoration of a classic 356 built to the exact specifications of the vehicles displayed at Earls Court in 1951.
Using original chassis records and historical documentation, the restoration project took two years to complete and retains its original 1.1-liter engine producing 36 horsepower.
The restoration serves as a symbolic bridge between Porsche’s earliest days in Britain and its modern high-performance lineup, highlighting the brand’s long-standing relationship with one of its most important international markets.
As Porsche celebrates 75 years in the United Kingdom, the 911 GT3 Touring Earls Court 51 stands as both a collector’s item and a tribute to the model that helped introduce the German manufacturer to British enthusiasts more than seven decades ago.
