Asteroids, Comets, and Meteors are small celestial bodies in our solar system with distinct characteristics:
Asteroids are rocky objects, mostly found in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. They vary in size and are remnants from the early solar system.
Comets are icy bodies that originate from the outer regions, like the Kuiper Belt or Oort Cloud. When they approach the Sun, they develop glowing comas and tails due to sublimation of their ices.
Meteors are the streaks of light we see when small space debris (often from asteroids or comets) burns up in Earth’s atmosphere. If they survive the descent and land, they are called meteorites.
